Chris Gilbert is a life-long Dodger fan who remembers going to games as early as 1992. His first favorite Dodger was Eric Karros, followed shortly thereafter by Mike Piazza, and his first favorite pitcher: Hideo Nomo.
Born and raised in LA, Chris relocated to the East Coast after college to pursue a career as an advertising creative— resulting in a 10-year stint of watching the Dodgers no matter what— 10:10PM EST first pitches and bedtimes be damned.
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Chris returned to his beloved Los Angeles to live smack-dab in the heart of Echo Park so he would no longer have to rely on McCourt-owned parking lots to attend games.
His interests in photography, graphic design, illustration, writing, and art have all crossed paths with Dodgery themes at various points, ultimately coalescing into this blog in the offseason following the 2024 World Series triumph.
His other interests include record collecting, concert-going, wordplay, and dogs.
